Genesys Works is a national non-profit dedicated to providing career pathways for high school students in underserved communities. As a Senior Program Coordinator, my responsibilities center on facilitating college enrollment and the professional development of high school seniors. In addition, I have had the privilege of extending my support to high school graduates as they navigate their postsecondary plans, by establishing and nurturing our alumni program.My role involves providing individualized guidance to students in a wide range of college access and professional development topics. I also took the initiative to design and deliver curriculum and organize large-scale events aimed at addressing the unique college and career access challenges prevalent among our target demographic. Through effective data management with Salesforce and Signal Vine, I've added efficiencies to my advising approach, allowing me to fully focus on providing an optimal and student-centered coaching approach.Through effective collaboration with my colleagues and the supervision of a direct report, our efforts led to a significant increase in alumni engagement. Notably, we achieved a remarkable milestone of 100% fall enrollment for college-bound high school seniors, underscoring the impact of our collective dedication and commitment to students' future success.

As a Program Coordinator, I effectively managed a cohort of 15 to 25 high school seniors throughout their paid year-long internships and the college application process. Notable achievements include maintaining a perfect 100% FAFSA completion rate and receiving unanimous feedback from all students, affirming that they received comprehensive, personalized support during their participation in the program.In this capacity, I leveraged a combination of individual and large-group meetings, alongside proficient use of data management tools such as Salesforce, to impart and coach essential professional and college-access skills. During my tenure as a Senior Interviewer in William & Mary's Admissions Office, I diligently prioritized creating a welcoming environment for prospective students. My approach involved tailoring interview topics to individual interests and employing inclusive language to convey the unique opportunities that William & Mary offers. By doing so, I ensured that candidates felt comfortable during their interviews and could envision themselves thriving at the institution. Over the course of my role, I conducted more than 100 interviews and provided comprehensive written evaluations to admissions deans, assessing applicants' academic qualifications, extracurricular involvements, and personal qualities to determine their compatibility with William& Mary.Beyond the interview process, I actively engaged with prospective students and their families. During campus tours and informational sessions, I shared genuine experiences, helping these individuals gain a better understanding of the exciting opportunities available at the institution. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of coordinating one of the Dean's travel plans in Fall 2019. This intricate task involved reaching out to 40 high schools in New Jersey, managing contacts efficiently through Salesforce, and meticulously devising a realistic travel itinerary for the Dean, ultimately contributing to the successful outreach efforts of our admissions team.

After two years as an Orientation Aide, I was promoted due to my commitment to improving the new student experience to an Orientation Area Director with the office of Student Transition and Engagement Programs. I led the selection of 48 Orientation Aides from over 400 applicants, emphasizing both individual capabilities and team dynamics. I refined the orientation program based on feedback, enhancing accessibility, programming, and hiring practices. Collaborating with nine other Orientation Area Directors, I ensured efficient planning and followed up on action items. I also created promotional materials and forged partnerships to expand outreach for Orientation Aide applications on campus and through social media.

As a Marketing Intern, I spearheaded the redesign of the company's website, from initial planning to collaborating with a web developer. I managed the transfer of company contacts to a new CRM system and created diverse marketing materials such as PowerPoints, Eventbrite pages, a new slogan, a guidebook to international business, and impactful postcards. Additionally, I authored thirteen press releases, which were published on the company website and distributed to clients, contributing to increased company visibility.
