With 15 years of experience, she is a BIM expert, optimizing building performance through daylighting, carbon and energy analysis using various tools ranging from quick early-phase modeling to complex energy and daylight modeling for LEED and PHIUS certification. Abby leads teams in a collaborative process to explore design solutions that optimize cost, constructability, and resource consumption. Her recent work includes leading commercial and multifamily properties through PHIUS certification, and low-energy and low-carbon market rate multifamily design. Other professional explorations include synergies between rainwater harvesting and waste heat recovery, resource efficient urban farming, and zero-energy planning and design at both the neighborhood and building scale. Abby excels at synthesizing sustainability analysis and visualization to create graphics that communicate both project performance and aesthetics.
