I'm a passionate Innovation Consultant and member of the Innovation Consulting team at Radiocarbon. We exist to unthink conventions and pioneer corporate innovation programs fit for tomorrow.We're currently working with a number of large market-leading companies across NZ and Australia, helping them to solve key innovation challenges, unlock growth and avert disruption. It's fun work!Prior to this, I spent several years as an Innovation Product Manager, prototyping ideas in the corporate innovation lab of WA's biggest Insurer - RAC WA. As a naturally curious, big picture thinker, I was drawn to a career in innovation by the excitement I feel when working with customer problems and developing and testing solutions.     BetterLabs ( https://www.betterlabs.io/, https://www.betterlabsventures.com.au/) is the Strategic Innovation function of RAC WA, responsible for internal prototyping of new business opportunities and investing in external start-ups via their $23M BetterLabs Ventures fund. We worked in an offsite purpose-designed innovation lab. As Innovation Product Manager I was a key member of the internal prototyping program, taking full ownership of the innovation life cycle. I was responsible for:➤ identification and prioritisation of customer or segment problems➤ idea and solution generation➤ design, testing and validation of proposed solutions➤ in-market prototyping and product marketing➤ reporting progress to a venture capitalist weekly and iterating on feedback➤ making recommendations and justifications to continue or kill projects based on potential commercial viability.I also worked with teams in the main RAC business, engaging with relevant subject matter experts, running innovation sessions to engage employees in innovation initiatives, and assist with increasing the level of innovation maturity across the business.
