I have extensive background creating Spanish curriculum at the preschool through high school levels. I have been both a classroom teacher at all of these levels as well as a private tutor. I have also designed curriculum to teach personal finance and standardized test preparation at the high school level. Living in Argentina I was a translator and language consultant at a law firm as well as an English as a second language teacher. Being the mother of two special needs children I have become a strong student and child advocate and been involved in a number of different medical and psychological settings in which my communication skills have been honed. This was complimented by my experience as a medical translator in both hospital and clinic settings. Most recently, I have used my communication skills to serve as a volunteer at my children's schools being a liaison to the broader public in outreach to special students in need. I have travelled expensively and worked as a junior travel agent, tour guide and leader of study abroad programming.
