About Abby Plichta

I'm a nursing student at the University of Connecticut. I am also pursuing a psychological sciences minor to improve my ability to be an effective nurse. As I see the value in alternative therapies and have seen the positive impact of horses on children, I am also pursuing a minor in therapeutic horsemanship education.As a nationally certified emergency medical technician (NREMT) I have my EMT license in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. I received my EMT training from the Emergency Training Academy in Thorndale, PA.Another major accomplishment is that I earned my Girl Scout Gold Award in 2021. I designed and coordinated a team of volunteers to build a toddler playground at my church, Christ Community Church in West Chester, PA.I am a highly motivated learner and worker. I put my best foot forward in everything I do and always try my best. I am intelligent and an excellent problem-solver. I have a consistent history of taking opportunities to build my skill set and further my education.
