CurrentProgram Leadership and Management: Lead the Design & Engineering Project Management Office, overseeing the planning, execution, and management of design activities across North America. Ensure design programs align with the company’s strategic objectives, project timelines, and quality standards.Design Standards and Processes: Develop, implement, and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high quality across all projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program, optimizing processes and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal customers, including engineering, construction, operations, and project management teams, to ensure seamless integration of design activities with other project functions.Project Oversight and Support: Provide oversight and guidance to design teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with standards. Support the resolution of design-related issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.Resource Management: Handle the allocation and utilization of design resources, ensuring the teams are adequately staffed and supported to meet project demands. Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance management of design team members.Budget and Financial Management: Develop and handle the budget for the PMO, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support project needs. Supervise and control design program costs, finding opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks associated with design activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on design program status, performance metrics, and key issues to senior management and other customers.
