Defined and implemented a mid-funnel engagement strategy that led to 1.6 million new registered users and 50% increase in known user rate in 2020.Implemented McClatchy’s first Voice of the Customer platform; integrating qualitative survey touchpoints across customer journeys to improve CX and drive churn modeling, reaching 200k+ customers in 2020.

As innovation manager at McClatchy, I led design thinking training, innovation programming, and McClatchy's partner program with Matter, a media-focused VC and startup accelerator. I trained more than 300 McClatchy employees in design thinking practices and worked on experiments in AR/VR, live journalism, Spanish-language news products, and AI-enabled obituaries.

Founded an immersive compliance-training platform focused on anti-bribery and corruption law. Our game-based training and reporting platform increased employee engagement, used real-life case studies to demystify the FCPA and UK Bribery Law, and enabled compliance officers to identify risks and tailor follow-up training.

Led a staff of 20 to produce videos, articles and fiction for a food focused digital publication. I also wrote investigative articles on food policy, business and culture.
