My law practice is dedicated to helping business owners and creatives protect their most valuable assets – their distinctive brands and their creative works.I handle a wide range of intellectual property matters, including litigation, enforcement, clearance, counseling, licensing, and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications. A substantial portion of my practice involves litigation of trademark registration disputes before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board of the United States Patent & Trademark Office and litigating trademark and copyright infringement matters in federal court. I have particular expertise in negotiating settlements of complicated disputes. My non-litigation practice focuses on counseling clients as they create, grow, and manage their intellectual property portfolios with an eye toward future equity events. To that end, I assist with not only clearance searches and prosecution, but drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate, technology and intellectual property agreements. I regularly counsel business leaders and corporate counsel in connection with complicated intellectual property aspects of a wide variety of transactions.
