I'm a printmaker and designer specialising in risograph printing and graphic design. My years of experience in the print industry has lead me to my current role as Print Technician at Liverpool John Moores University. Here I provide workshops and support to students with print making techniques such as: risograph printing, screen printing, linocut, cyanotype, etching. Prior to this I previously lectured at both Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Institution for Performing Arts for the past few years.Since 2018 I have been running my own small business "Abby Sumner Design" creating vibrant eco-conscious products including risograph prints, greetings cards and stationery. My products are sold online, through in-person markets and also in physical stores across the UK. Alongside this I am a freelance graphic designer working on client projects involving branding/logo design, illustration, pattern design and editorial design. I also provide a risograph print service from my studio working with small businesses and clients.
