Abby Vendura is a student at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, pursuing a double major in Interior Architecture, a CIDA-accredited program, and Immersive Media. Her studies merge the physical and digital worlds, combining spatial design with cutting-edge immersive technologies, like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and projection mapping. Her work focuses on creating environments that prioritize sustainability, enhance occupant well-being, and inspire wonder through interactive and transformative experiences.Through collaborative studio courses across both disciplines, Abby has developed a passion for projects that embody innovation, functionality, and a sense of wonder. Her work spans designing versatile installations and exhibits for artistic activism, history museums, and children’s museums, highlighting her commitment to the intersection of spatial design, immersive media, education, and artistic expression.
