As a Field Representative at MESSA, I work directly with individual members and public employers in managing and understanding their MESSA health and ancillary benefit coverage. Prior to my employment at MESSA, I was a band and music teacher in the Lansing School District for 8 years, as well as an MEA UniServ Director for 2 years. My experience as an employee in the public school system, as a bargainer in the public school system, and a proud MESSA member for almost 20 years has provided the understanding necessary to work alongside a variety of clients in varied settings. I am very proud to be a part of this non-profit organization which strives to provide exemplary benefits and service to our public employees in Michigan.
