Responsibilities include employee centralized online tele-pharmacy functions for five regional hospitals, inpatient pharmacy relief, community pharmacy relief. Kinetic dosing, Certified Immunizer, MTM Consultant. Trained in hospital pharmacy automation systems: CPSI, MediTech Magic, Cerner Pharmnet.

Oversees the operation of a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) charged with the mission of providing, free Medicare education services, free annual Influenza Immunizations, free Pneumonia Immunizations, and free MTM pharmacy services to a growing target population of 22,000 seniors aged 65 years of age or older... throughout Monroe County, Michigan. (Influenza and flu related pneumonia contribute to 5-8% of all deaths in this demographic group). Emphasis is placed on providing in-the-home immunization services... and immunization services at scheduled social clinics at each of several county Senior Centers, at the Monroe Salvation Army Campus, and at other suitable locations. Particular emphasis on serving the needs of an estimated twenty one hundred physically home-bound, socially home-bound, and economically home-bound individuals is observed. Utilizes Medicare eligibility to defray the cost of vaccine, and the cost of administration... thus enhancing program viability. Provides free in-the-home Medication Therapy Management Consulting services to these same individuals in conjunction with immunization services. Builds and maintains a database of services recipients entitled, "The Monroe County Silver Pages," shared with other Not for Profit Organizations charged with assisting the elder population of Monroe County. Advocate and educator for Medicare, Nursing Home Care/Home Health insurance, and for Medicare Supplement and Cost Cap insurance. Supports the mission of the Monroe County Opportunity Program (MCOP) by soliciting the donation of toiletries to stock the 'Medicine Cabinet' department in a unique, coupon currency, cooperative market for the working poor.
