CurrentAs an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer at SAIF-Zone, I play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and compliance of our investors within the SAIF-Zone. Our dynamic free zone hosts over 8,000 companies from 160 different countries, representing a diverse range of industries.My responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities, including:1. Daily Inspections: - Conducting regular inspections for over 8000+ investors within the SAIF-Zone. Focusing on critical areas such as: - Fire Systems: Verifying the functionality and readiness of fire prevention and suppression systems. - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensuring that employees have access to and correctly use appropriate PPE. - Hazardous Activities and Materials: Identifying potential hazards and mitigating risks. - Chemical Safety: Reviewing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical companies. - Gold Refineries: Performing inspections specific to gold refining processes. - Food Safety: Ensuring compliance with food safety standards. - Diverse Investor Licenses: Adapting inspection protocols to various business activities.2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: - Collaborating with investors to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. - Promoting a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management.3. Training and Education: - Empowering investors and their teams to prioritize safety in their daily operations.4. Regulatory Compliance: - Staying up-to-date with local and international safety regulations. - Advising investors on compliance requirements and assisting with necessary documentation.5.
