Project: Halhul Dura Yatta Water Transmission System Client: West Bank Water Department – WBWD & Palestinian Water Authority – PWA Donor: Agence Francaise de Developpment – AFDDuties and Responsibilities:My tasks varied from preparing taking off quantities from tender design drawings, preparing breakdown cost estimate for different bids and job on hands at the firm head office located in Ramallah, placing purchase orders, checking of bill of lading for the imported material, developing of technical and financial proposals, conducting of local market surveys, obtaining 3 offers at least for each item or term to be purchased from different sources, following up the needed project and office equipment, stationary, services and all other project’s material to be supplied. Preparing traffic plan and by pass for the entire Halhul Dura Yatta pipeline alignment segments.Preparing contracts for sub-contractors, preparing variation orders documents, interim payments, and claims for the firm.Monitoring the progress of works with the subcontractors, preparing Sub-BOQs for subcontractors, reviewing and approving of the received subcontractor’s interim payment invoices, following up the required submittals to be submitted to the consultant through the subcontractors and the main contractor, in addition to report all the progress of works status to the Project Manager.
