Researcher-Founder, forward thinker and author, with friends, colleagues and partners, from different countries, developed and implemented numerous math-based methodologies and original solutions including machine-learning and AI-based solutions. These solutions tackled complex and real problems spanning from object identification, operational automation to mobility safety including the solution to the commonly difficult “Trolley Problem”, which remains still a challenge in automotive industry (autonomous vehicles). Addressed complex and large data sets, spanning from image data, geo-spatial data (GPS) to sensor time series or functional stream data (IoT). Some of these solutions have been considered as breakthroughs and currently used as standards in Research & Development and Industry, including automotive industry. Co-published the results of these methodologies in highly ranked journals and books with renowned publishers such as Taylor & Francis Group publisher. Reviewed papers and reports for international organisations such as the World Bank IAASTD report. Conducted several international collaborative research with colleagues, from a number of countries, to explore mathematics' tremendous potential in Research & Development and Artificial Intelligence to carry out operational processes on a timely manner. Organised and contributed to diverse international events related to math-based methodologies including events related to fractals and complexity, the Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics as well as numerous events organised by the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (Canada). Developed and organized degree and non-degree international training activities involving trainees from a number of countries. Helped in the design and establishment of research facilities along with the development of national research strategies, focusing on people, processes, and emerging technologies for building teams and developing operational innovative platforms. Participated in municipality as well as community activities and projects such as the assessment of needs to help the homeless in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
