I am an account officer at We One, a leading technology company in the UAE. I manage the financial bookkeeping and records of an organization. Their duties include recording transactions, payments and expenses and processing invoices. They also send out bills and invoices, follow up on overdue payments and ensure that a company’s invoices and payments match up correctly by cross-checking the original document to the company’s record. I am working with other professionals in the accounting department like Bookkeepers and Account Clerks to make sure the company’s finances are accurately recorded.In addition to my accounting role, I have a passion for technology and innovation. I am a licensed drone pilot with a commercial level RPAS certification from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. I have two years of experience as a drone pilot at DP World, where I performed aerial mapping and surveying for various projects and clients. I have also participated in several innovation and data competitions, such as the UAE Hackathon, Dubai Customs/Data Thoon, GITEX Expo, and Al Wasl Innovation Competition, where I demonstrated my creativity and problem-solving skills using drone technology.I have a Bachelor of Laws degree from Alwasl University, where I learned the legal aspects of technology, innovation, and business. I aspire to combine my accounting, drone, and legal skills to contribute to the growth and development of the technology sector in the UAE and beyond.
