Hello, welcome to my LinkedIn page! I'm Abdallah, an Architect and founder of the NYC-based architectural firm EC Architects P.C. I have 8+ years of experience in the architecture & construction industry, focusing on Low/Midrise residential new builds, retail stores & restaurants, full gut redesign, and construction. As a Principal Architect at EC Architects P.C., I am responsible for complete project execution, from the initial design stages to performing the punch list for the final project handoff. I also organize in-house training for our new interns and team members, helping them improve their workflows by establishing more efficient strategies. My entrepreneurial nature and drive to achieve more led me to establish EC Architects P.C., soon after obtaining my license. I utilized my ambition for success to accelerate & develop my technical and entrepreneurial skills. My direct exposure to the industry taught me how to operate a business in one of the most competitive markets in the world. Some of my responsibilities include assisting and representing my clients on matters concerning NYC regulatory requirements, preparation of construction documents, initiating the RFP process, obtaining city agency approvals and permits, construction administration, and final project signoffs/commissioning. Some notable projects include work for: Apple Store, Volkswagen Group, The Four Seasons Private Residences, Foot Locker, Related Properties, Nordstrom Rack, Electrify America, Hampton Inn, Cube Smart, Citi Bank, TMPL Gym, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), West Elm, Athleta, Sapir, Crumbl Cookie, UAE Consulate in NYC, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mission to the United Nations and various local NYC developers.My path was not an immediate success. Growing my business and professional career took a lot of hard work, patience, and perseverance. FounderEc Design Apr 2017 - Mar 2022- Prepared MEP drawing set for fast track project at 1981 Broadway - Apple Store, a $2 million HVAC revamp project. Working directly with all stakeholders to ensure compliance standards, budget and schedule are met.- Worked directly with the developer of a high end luxury loft, located on North Moore Street in Tribeca, to create 2D visualizations for a 4,000sf. loft, valued at over $7 million.- Retained by a consulting firm overseeing a city wide MEP equipment upgrade at Cube Smart and Foot Locker facilities. The scope involved field assessment of existing systems, documentation of current conditions, formulation of plans for approval and permit and coordination with the HVAC contractor, for over 30 locations throughout the greater NYC area.- Collaborated with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) on a $500k project, to install (2) two 2,000,000 BTU hydronic boilers, for a 12 story building located in Harlem. Under direct supervision of the applicant of record. -
