Operations Engineer
Current- DCS engineer at Sonker energy company. Dec 2020 – presentSonker company operates a world scale Gasoil and LPG tank terminal in the harbour area of Ain-Sokhna,Egypt. This terminal also serve as a supply to the Egyptian network for Gasoil & LPG .Responsibilities:• Monitor loading and unloading of products and advise shift supervisor about safe operations.• Oversee computer inventory control systems and pipeline products movements.• Operate on the control panel to adjust the flow rate, pressure, temperature, levels, and volumes at the standard operation procedure for the storage and transportation of Gasoil and LPG from vessels offshore (ship) to tanks onshore area.• Plan and execute equipment and pipeline drain/purge activities before maintenance or new construction work.• Assign work permits for company and contract personnel working at local facilities.• Communicate operational information, maintenance needs, and other related information to internal and external customers in both verbal and written form.• Chemical injection and dosing rate monitor.• Capable of activating emergency response plan for the area, including making necessary preliminary notifications.• Set shift interchange smoothly and efficiently verbal and via shift log.• Coordinate the start-up, shut-down (normal & emergency), and normal operations with lead operators and field operators.
