People would describe me as a creative leader because I am never afraid to share an idea that others have not thought of before. I have helped lead groups to success whether it was a class of kindergartners, a fourth-grade basketball team, or groups in my class. As a senior in high school, I worked with a kindergarten class for an entire quarter. While in the class I learned lots of different leadership skills because I had to be able to help the students learn the material that was assigned to them without them getting bored and getting them off task. To do this, I had to utilize different techniques to keep them engaged while at the same time helping them learn what they need to learn. I had a similar scenario like this leading up to high school while working at a summer camp with kids the age of 4-12. With it being this wide in age range and classes, which ranged from STEM to Gym classes, and be able to adapt my abilities for it to be appropriate to the individual situation to make the experience enjoyable for every at the camp. I have also been a creative mind whether it was making comic books in high school or brainstorming ideas for case competitions. During my free time in high school I would create comic books about people in my life and gave them superpowers that fit their personalities and an entire storyline in them as well. I would also create comics about random creatures and give them powers as well. I translated this creativity into my school projects since I would always be able to come up with an idea for what direction we, as a group, should take to be a little different from the rest of the class.
