Operate & maintain the enterprise computing environment including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, optimization, capacity management and disaster recovery / business continuity planning.4. Expand VDI environment as needed (ESXi, servers, pools, specs, configurations) 5. Provide technical advisory to STC - the client for the best way to deliver, enhance & expand VDI service.6. Ensure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards7. Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the virtualization environment including Microsoft, VMware and Linux.8. Supports security planning; assessment; risk analysis; and risk management9. Migrate VDI environment to different DB's, storage, Blades.10. Interact with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely resolution to any issues or outages.11. Ensure servers and applications meet proper performance, security and capacity standards, including backups and patching.12. Mentor junior members of the Infrastructure team as needed.13. Provide proactive analyses of key metrics, health checks and departmental priorities14. Automate and monitor the infrastructure and systems.
