He is the former Chief Information Security Officer of the benefits and payments activity of the Sodexo Group, where he oversaw all aspects of information and systems security across the activity’s operations in 31 countries, which totaled nearly 10 billion euros in business volume in FY2008. Prior to this, Abdellah held applied research and academic positions at the University of California in Santa Cruz and at the University of Washington in Seattle, during which time he conducted original research in numerical modeling and performance computing, authoring several articles in leading publications such as the Journal of Fluid Mechanics or the Journal of Geophysical Research.Abdellah holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and a master’s degree in engineering from the Rabat School of Mines in Morocco. Abdellah is a Fulbright Doctoral Fellow and a NASA International Fellow.
