Frontend Developer
Current- Developed various custom UI components that handle 1000s of data items, most notable: Tree View, Grid, Image & PDF viewer/editor.- Wrote 50% of the code, reviewed the other 50%.- Wrote unit test to increase coverage from 0 to 70%.- Updated framework and developer tools, setup lint rules and wrote scripts to ensure code quality.- Mentored and led junior developers onboarding the project, teaching best practices and directing the scope of technical work.- Improved initial load time of web viewer by controlling order of data fetches, caching data on the back-end and lazy loading. Achieved 10x speedup in one use case.- Collaborated with product team providing estimates, creating proof of concepts to decide the roadmap for the project.- Fixed bugs and made refactors that decreased annual reported bug count for the project by an average of 15% year over year for the past 4 years.
