Employed at Power Consult Company and working for the Saudi Electricity Company - Generation Project Engineering Department in a position of Generation Engineering Specialist (specialized in Boilers , HRSG , FGD and BOP ) My duties includes , but not limited to :- Project leader for various thermal power plant projects ,currently I am project leader for Jeddah South Stage 2 Phase 1 Project (700 MW x 2 oil-fired supercritical thermal generating units . Currently the project at tendering stages. Sudanese Thermal Generation Company - Generation Directorate Section Kosti Thermal Power Station- Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Testing & Commissioning, operation and maintenance of a newly built power station project (Kosti Thermal Power Station), composed of 4*125MW Crude/heavy fuel oil fired reheat boiler and combined HP-LP. - The Sudanese Thermal Power Generation Company (STPG) is the Owner of the plant while Baharat Heavy Electrical Ltd. (BHEL) from India is the EPC Contractor of the plant and Fichtner – Germany is the Consultant of the project. - The power station under commissioning, 2- units synchronized to the grid and final testing for hand offer the plant for commercial operation is in progress. The other two units is on final stage of commissioning.

Sudanese Thermal Generation Company – Generation Project General Directorate.KNPS Extension Project – Khartoum North- Project Manager & Senior Mechanical Engineer for 2X100 MW oil fired steam power plant project owned by Sudanese Thermal Power Generation Company (STPG) where the main contractor was CMEC (China) and the consultant Mott MacDonald (UK). Scope of work included: Two (2) steam turbine-generation units and auxiliaries , FGD Plant (Wet lime stone type) , BOP System including river water cooling intake and outfall systems, demineralized water system , boiler feed pumps, condensate extraction pumps, condensate piping system, feed water piping system , dearators, 1.5 MW standby diesel engine , overhead cranes, transmission line to the national grid , fuel oil unloading station and storage tanks, fuel forwarding systems, mechanical auxiliary systems, fire protection system, water treatment plant, 5 km pipeline to the power plant, 5 blocks staff housing, living area for contractor’s and subcontractors’ staff (approximately 1000 persons), sewage system, waste treatment system, administration building, workshops and stores, roads, drainage, fencing etc.

- Lead Mechanical Engineer & Site Manager for 2X100 MW oil fired steam power plant project owned by Sudanese Thermal Power Generation Company (STPG) where the main contractor was CMEC (China) and the consultant Mott MacDonald (UK).Responsibilities:• Management and coordination of the STPG engineers and inspectors and liaison with consultant site team comprising approximately 16 engineers, 22 inspectors, 5 admin assistants and 34 trainee engineers and operators. • Responsible for site quality control, supervision of the contractor’s installation, commissioning and testing of the mechanical equipment. • Reporting on a weekly basis the project progress status report including percentage complete, deviations, project issues, shipments status, health and safety, etc.• Monitoring and inspecting the mechanical equipment/system erection for compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements. • Review of the basic conceptual Boilers, FGD and BOP equipment design drawings.• Review of Boilers, FGD and BOP equipment detail design drawings.• Witnessing the factory acceptance tests of boilers pressure parts, FD Fans, BUF fans , Air heaters, sootblowers, Major Water & Fuel Pumps, high-pressure (HP) heaters, low-pressure (LP) heaters, condensers, vacuum pumps, deaerator, etc. • Review of boiler, FGD and BOP equipment installation drawings.• Supervising and witnessing the site inspections of boiler , FGD and BOP .• Conducting technical meetings with the contractor to address and solve technical issues. • Review and approval of test procedures.• Review, approval and supervision of design alterations proposed by the contractor.• Supervising and witnessing the preliminary site tests (prior to start of commissioning) • Supervising and witnessing the commissioning activities related to boiler, FGD and related balance of plant equipment.

Position: As Senior Mechanical Boiler and FGD Project Engineer.Responsibilities:• Participate in the preparation of the Bid Document and developing of Specification • Review of the basic conceptual Boilers, FGD and BOP equipment design drawings.• Review of Boilers, FGD and BOP equipment detail design drawings.• Witnessing the factory acceptance tests of boilers pressure parts, FD Fans, BUF fans , Air heaters, sootblowers, Major Water & Fuel Pumps, high-pressure (HP) heaters, low-pressure (LP) heaters, condensers, vacuum pumps, deaerator, etc. • Review of boiler, FGD and BOP equipment installation drawings.• Supervising and witnessing the site inspections of boiler , FGD and BOP .• Review of boiler, FGD and BOP equipment installation drawings.• Supervising and witnessing the site inspections of boiler , FGD and BOP .• Review and approval of test procedures.• Review, approval and supervision of design alterations proposed by the contractor.• Attending daily and weekly meetings with the contractor.• Conduct on Job Training (Class & Field) for new engineers.

- Two years practical training in various hydro, diesel and steam power plant- Boiler Maintenance Engineer and then promoted to Senior mechanical Boiler Maintenance Engineer Responsible for maintenance supervision (Boilers, Auxiliaries and Balance of plant) of 180 MW power station of Khartoum North power station. The power station plant comprising of phase one (2x30 MW oil fired-steam turbines units manufactured by NEI-UK) and phase two (2x60 MW oil fired-steam turbines unit manufactured by ABB-Germany & Waagner Biro-Austria).- Participate on behalves of NEC on developing the specification of the extension project (2x100 MW) with the consultant company Mott Macdonald (MML) of the UK and lead the boiler & FGD section during the tender floating, bidder’s clarifications review and discussion, negotiations and signing the contract with CMEC-China.
