Engineering research necessitates to have deep insight and a strong understanding of the system's origins. This is represented by the physical phenomena that cover these systems and the vital mathematical background to interpret the governing physics to different forms of simulation models; most importantly, the form of differential equations. To control these systems, a solid mathematical background in linear and nonlinear algebra is required to optimize the solution of the governing differential equations and then generate the desired control algorithms based on the optimized solution. My research interests include: control systems, connected autonomous vehicles, systems health monitoring, fault detection, fault-tolerant control, estimation and future prediction, virtual sensing, signal processing, digital filtering, sensor fusion, and machine learning. My work during the Ph.D. program resulted in 12 journal articles and 21 conference proceedings, all of which I am the first, primary, and leading author. Along with an article I published during my undergraduate program, which pardoned me from any master's and secured me a direct Ph.D. admission.
