During my experience and knowledge in Environment conservation, I worked with both government institutions, local and International, More with different positions, such as project management, technical adviser and director of programs. More over I have participated studies on land resource assessment, Land use planning, food security assessment and impact of climate change on pastoral and agro pastoral community in Somaliland. I am a member of HAWEN (Horn of Africa Wildlife Enforcement Network). and also Project Manager SDF funded project titled " Enhancing capacity of Ministry of Environment through sustainable Natural resource management. my responsibilities as project Manager is:1. Project management • Responsible for overall implementation of project in line with approved project proposal within the framework of the SDF guidelines. This includes the planning and monitoring of activities;• Develop effective relationships with all project partners and implementers and other MoERD departments; • With support of the TA, supervise implementing partners delivering the project activities timely, effectively and efficiently;• With the support of the TA, ensure compliance with all the SDF guidelines and procedures; • Ensure project deadlines and high quality standards are maintained in the implementation of the project activities;• Ensure project resources are used appropriately and efficiently;• With the TA support ,establish and manage an efficient project monitoring system;• Timely preparation and submission of progress status reports as required from the SDF secretariat.Now I am Technical Advisor of Ministry of Environment and Rural Development Somaliland Republic
