I have invested 8 years working in the customer service industry. And during my time working in the industry I learned some valuble things about myself; one being that I love to help people. I also learned the importance of strong communication skills, building good rapport with customers and providing excellent support and product knowledge.I am currently working at Elemental DCI as an interviewer. Were I conduct survays with Canadians across the country on a range of different and ever changing topics. My work here has given me great active listening and persuasion skills which are needed in the role to convince people to take time out of their busy days to participate in a survey that has no immediate benefits to them.Most recently in terms of employment history I have worked for Gatestone & co. as a technical service representative were i learned how to utilise CRM software to identify, handle and solve customer concerns, aswell as make sales and upgrades to existing customer accounts.Previously, I was a sales associate at The Home Depot Canada, where i provided customers with product knowledge and also recommended the right tools, materials and chemicals for their desired project.I have completed a Jr IT Analyst training program with Npower Canada. Were I have acquired Hardware, software, Troubleshooting and network configuration and installation skills. I'm also certified with CompTIA for my A+ which is a global, industry-recognized certification.And i also have a cisco IT Essentials cerification.Skills: Multilingual(fluent in Swahilli, Somali and English), Project Management tools (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum and Gantt Charts, Kanban board), Microsoft Office.
