As Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (VDAA) , including Research and Graduate Studies, my office directs the academic programs at the college and manages the ways to achieve college academic vision and research objectives. Specific responsibilities in various areas including the academic programs (graduate and undergraduate), course assessment files as a measure of quality control, and research development include, but not limited to:- In coordination with the various departments, the VDAA formulates strategies for academic programs to reach the college vision and objectives in light of overall University policies, and monitor progress made toward achieving defined goals- Evaluation of academic programs within the institutional academic accreditation- Organize accreditation related workshops and seminars.- Overseeing the professional development of faculty members, and evaluating their performance and research productivity- Prepare periodic statistical publication and scientific mission reports
