• Checking that QC instruments/equipment is calibrated as per projects QA procedures and ensuring the availability of all the calibration certificates at site office. • Making arrangements for necessary material verification & traceability of painting/coating materials and coordinating for the availability of Batch and Test Certificates. • Updating inspection reports documentations, filing paint data sheets & MSDS and arranging Paint Batch Certificates, Equipment Calibration Certificates & Indexes. • Conducting audits in contractor’s paint/thinner/abrasives stores, stores offices to verifying methods paint/thinner, abrasives receiving, clearing, storing, and record keeping. • Making necessary follow ups with construction to take action against quality NCR’s. • Controlling site painting/coating and insulation inspectors for effective completion and clearance of job inspection activities. • Ensuring that daily painting / coating and insulation inspection reports prepared by inspectors are documented. • Finalizing quality punch lists made by contractor, following up for closing quality punch list points and reviewing the final test pack • Inspection carried out based on RFI (Request for Inspection) from construction as per the applicable Inspection Test Plan & Project Specification. • Ensure fulfillment of all stages of Application as per as per the Project specification. • Witness field tests (viz. WFT, DFT, Pin Hole/Holiday Detection, etc.). • Ensure that weather conditions (viz. Relative Humidity and Dew Point) are suitable for surface preparation and paint application. • Ensure that the surface Cleanliness and surface profile of blast-cleaned surfaces are in accordance with the specification requirements
