I've been responsible for designing and implementation of tables, views, stored procedures, functions, configuring clustered and non-clustered indexes to have millisecond response time when retrieving desired data from millions of records regarding complicated logic. I've been in charge of setting up and manipulating replication between multiple MS SQL Server machines and working with AlwaysOn Availability Group to bring more reliability and resilience to services.In a big data project, 1 TB data in text files were needed to be stored in a PostgreSQL database and be preprocessed using some heavy queries. By DB tuning and some optimization, the whole process time was reduced by %43.

Liferay is an enterprise open source portal implementing Java Portlet Specification. It uses a wide variety of technologies and libraries including Struts, Hibernate, Spring, JSP, CSS, and Velocity template language. I have developed and led the development of multiple portlets utilizing the above technologies. The team size has been up to 6.
