Key Responsibilities:• Overseeing and monitoring staff Revit training and development as well as providing Revit & BIM support.• Managing the BIM design process such that the highest quality of design deliverables is submitted for project team reviews.• Integrating models and producing clash detection reports & managing clash detection meetings with project teams.• Writing BIM strategies and BIM execution plans.• Development and agreement of clear BIM implementation strategies at tender and project stages.• Acting as model manager on projects working with design teams and clients to define BIM deliverables and carrying out model federation on projects.• Output of COBie as BS 1192-4:2014 requirements.• Champion the benefits of BIM internally to existing staff and teams to ensure the necessary culture change is continued.• Carrying out BIM and design reviews across all design stages.• Keeping up to date with and advising staff on BIM regulations and developments• Leading and managing BIM at an operational level to ensure consistency of BIM uses and processes to support all stages of projects.• Preparing, coordinating and managing technical design packages, building regulation submissions, tender and contract documentation.• Leading projects from concept design development to completion.• Leading meetings with external consultants and internal team.• Managing the design process and coordinating project teams of both in-house staff and external consultants.• Liaising closely with clients to ensure delivery on time, to required budget and quality standards.• Reviewing drawing packages and coordinating design team meetings.
