I am a media coordinator, a writer and a project manager with over 11-years of experience in media management, writing and editing, operational management of projects and event management. Starting my career as journalist in 2004, I worked with two news agencies as desk editor in addition to producing trade bulletin for Radio Pakistan in my three early years of career as a mainstream journalist. I switched over to media management and research writing in 2007 when I joined Subh-e-Nau, an environment and public health organization that also runs a commercial monthly magazine and conducts national and international tennis events to promote sporting activities in Pakistan. My longest and continued affiliation with Subh-e-Nau not only polished my writing and editing skills but also provided me with unique opportunities of working with media especially for the cause of disaster-hit population in natural calamities and sporting events. I have cultivated professional relationship with media outfits and personnel and can invoke these during targeted campaigns and events. My stay at Subh-e-Nau has also handed me an experience in project management especially in operational management including accounts and administration etc. I joined a renowned non-governmental organization Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in January 2014 as Media Officer for its project Parliament Watch which gave me extensive experience of managing media affairs within and outside the project activities. I joined Subh-e-Nau again as Programs Manager in October 2014 and has managed its projects very well.
