- Focal Person for Sindh Water Policy Formulation coordinating all Steering Committee, Inter-Departmental Committee, Drafting Group and Working Group meetings. Coordinate all background studies and content on water balance, environment climate change aspects, environmental flow, wetlands, and IWRM. - Focal person on SDGs Alignment from the office.- Monitor the compliance status of environmental and social safeguards on the three contracts ofcivil works under Sindh Water Sector Improvement Project as well as Guddu and Sukkur Barrages Rehabilitation Works under SINDH BARRAGES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.- Evaluate and coordinate for Dolphin Conservation and Habitat Management Plan in the IndusRiver area. Facilitate the World Bank and the Project Management Office in liaison with SindhIrrigation Department, Sindh Wildlife Department and Sindh Environmental Protection Agencyfor implementing the Actions prescribed by Consultants and World Bank.- Conduct Joint Field visits with Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority and Project Implementation Consultants to update and verify the compliance status of WSIP-I and Similarly with PMO Irrigation Department for SBIP.- Record and update monthly Environmental Progress Review Meetings for further improvementand actions needed on the site for environmental safeguard compliance.- Review the Compliance reports provided by the Project Implementation Consultants.- Review the Assessment reports provided by the Monitoring and Evaluation Consultants.- Facilitate World Bank Missions and other delegations on the environmental performance of the projects and provide feedback for resolving any issues raised regarding the projects.- Participate in conferences and workshops related to the office and provide feedback on specialized subjects like climate change, environmental conservation, integrated resource management, water security etc.

1. Provide Environmental consultancy services to corporate entitites to ensure environmental conformance locally and internationally.2. Conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessment / Baseline surveys, prepare reports, delivering presentations in public hearings as well as Expert Committees. 3. Conduct Environmental audits and prepare Environmental Monitoring and Management Plans (EMMP) for different industries.4. Conduct Hazardous Material Audits and prepare Hazardous Materials Management Plans for different industries.5. Maintain good liaison with clients and ensure constant feedback till issuance of approval. 6. Coordinate and help prepare for compliance documentation.7. Provide Basic personal safety, fire safety and first aid trainings.8. Lead project team in project execution, report writing, field surveys and delivering final presentations.9. Prepare and ensure submission of tenders and proposals for projects. Work as focal person at Pre-bid meetings.10. Recruitment and training of Internees11. Under the capacity of Project Coordinator, ensure delivery of projects in timely manner and execute team and time management skills for successful completion.
