1. Close coordination with the government counterparts both at the national and sub-national level regarding the implementation of NAP on P/CVE; 2. Conduct the consultations meeting with the government counterparts and other related stakeholders with regard to the implementation of NAP on P/CVE documents; 3. Conduct further advocacy to relevant line Ministries/Institutions to secure their budget for the listed activities on NAP on P/CVE; 4. Conduct the policy engagement to localize the P/CVE programming based on NAP on P/CVE for the local government and relevant authorities in 5 (five) targeted areas of interventions; 5. Work closely with and supervise 5 (five) local consultants in 5 (five) targeted areas to facilitate and assist the local government/relevant authorities in formulating the SNAPs in their areas. 6. Enhance communications engagement between government counterparts, relevant authorities, and other stakeholders, including CSOs on P/CVE issues at the national and sub-national levels.

1. Develop and prepare a system of indicators, that are comprehensive and integrated among government counterparts, to monitor and evaluate the progress and the achievements for the implementation of the National Action Plan on Countering Violent Extremism leading to Terrorism. This component will focus on the development of integrated indicators on the successes of the coordinated efforts in countering violent extremism through preventive approach. Results will be presented at the Workshop on the Finalization of Development of Monitoring and Evaluation Tools.2. Prepare guidelines for data collection reporting and evaluation of data, that will set the common framework for the reporting of the results from the Monitoring and Evaluation activities on Countering/Preventing Violent Extremism; 3. Develop of an integrated mechanism, in line with data collection guidelines, for reporting the results from Monitoring and Evaluation on the implementation of National Action Plan on Countering Violent Extremism leading to Terrorism, that will facilitate the coordination and sharing of data to relevant stakeholders. 4. Drafting and develop concepts and definitions for the analysis of the data regarding the implementation of the National Action Plan on Countering Violent Extremism leading to Terrorism. 5. Enhance communication on the data on countermeasures against violent extremism that leads to terrorism and dissemination of data collection guidelines, indicators of success, Monitoring and Evaluation tool and reporting mechanism.

Strategic Oversight:• To overview all project activities at the national level and sub national level to ensure they fit with project strategy• To assist the regionally based Project Implementation Units (PIUs) in developing similar regional level oversight; • To undertake continuous liaison with the Government, the private sector, civil society and community leaders in order to maximize transparency and responsiveness of project activities; Management of Technical Assistance: • To overview project activities at the national level and sub national level, in particular their form, contents, timing, effectiveness, project transparency and results• To assist PMU and PIUs in identifying project activities to be supported; • To ensure that project activities contribute to project objectives and approaches, and that proposed activities are technically feasible, and in line with project approval processes and procedures; • To assist PMU and PIUs in efficient allocation of available budgets for project activities towards realizing project objectives; • To provide project related assistance to implementing partners as necessary to enhance project formulation and delivery, and to maximize sustainability and the peace-building impact of all project activities; • To identify need for, coordinate and oversee provision of technical assistance to partners through supervision of short-term consultants and other TA providers; • To manage monitoring processes of all project activities to ensure that implementation is in accordance with agreed works, and to distil lessons and good practices of value for future programming; • To ensure reporting arrangements for project activities are in place• To act as PTD’s in house expertise on Conflict Prevention activities; • Facilitate relevant in-house and external information sharing and knowledge management;

Strategic Oversight:• Organise and manage the process of National PMU relations with the National Project Steering Committee• To ensure all activities at the national level in the area of planning & social cohesion fit together and support the overall project strategy• To liaise with the regionally based Project Management Units in developing similar regional level cohesion; • To undertake continuous liaison with other local Government offices, the private sector, civil society and community leaders in order to maximize transparency and responsiveness in all project activities;• To liaise with and substantively manage external Technical Assistance at the national level;• Assist in fund raising and fund allocation for the PTD project;Management of Technical Assistance:• To overview/monitor all activities at the national level in the area of planning and peace- building• To assist the regional PMUs in identifying project activities to be supported in the areas of both planning and peace-building; • To overview/monitor all planning and peace-building related activities • To ensure the National and Regional PMUs maximise allocation of available budgets for project activities towards realizing project objectives in all project activities;• Manage project related assistance to implementing partners as necessary to enhance project delivery, and to maximize sustainability of all project activities;• Monitor provision of technical assistance to partners through supervision of Pos, short-term consultants and other technical assistance providers; • Overview monev processes of all project and to distil lessons and good practices of value for future programming; • Ensure reporting arrangements for NPMU related activities are in place• To act as PTD’s in-house spokesperson for all project related matters;
