My duties and responsibilities are to ensure that all store risk equipment and controls are effectively managed and monitored within Retail Operations, resulting in minimal risk to the business, maintaining cost- effective controls and increasing profitability. Ensuring all policies comply with legislative requirements.Evaluate required risk metrics and key performance areas for stores to achieve, analyse, develop appropriate solutions / interventions for risks in order to achieve maximum profitability.Manage and conduct supplier negotiations with security companies and other external service providers and government departments as required.Implement best practice risk applications by leading risk plans and applying international operational best practice based on Group Risk Strategy.Identify risk trends and formulate plan to address these risks.

Direct budget preparation and monitor expenditures to ensure that services are provided efficiently and effectively while staying within budgetary limits.Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction .Plan, implement, and coordinate preparation of management reports indicating out of line area’s for the divisional Ops Manager.Provide input into policy development and interpretation.Implement policy, legislative changes and service delivery conferring with key stakeholders and staff members as necessary.
