CurrentLeading the engineering section to take ownership of plant assets to ensure that theyare maintained and operated as per safety standards within their design parametersand identify and implement betterment programs to increase plant reliability,availability, efficiency and reduction in down time of operation.• Take the lead and direct the engineering team on resolution of all engineering issuesthrough allocation of resources from within the team or from external expertorganizations as required certified as internal auditor.• Responsible for management of planning, specification and implementation of theactivities during normal operation, and take the lead in planning coordination foroutage management, and other projects as may be required to ensure continuedreliable operation within agreed KPIs. Support the Plant Manager/General Managerin the development and delivery of the station’s Engineering and Maintenancebusiness plan.• Developing appropriate engineering OEM strategies for plant betterment projects and improving of plant machineries with specific emphasis on how engineering can provide support for smooth operations.• Manage and organize a team of technical engineers who will be required to work withother sections and departments to ensure that the plant is operated and maintained ina safe and effective manner certified in first aider and emergency response team.• Undertake and evaluate risk against technical issues and contribute to the resolutionwith due regard to process safety and to personnel safety.• Ensure that Plant Modifications are correctly engineered, and the site/companyprocedures are followed, and undertake assessments as a key member of the PlantModification Panel.• Responsible for other activities in plant Scrap disposal, process improvement,consumption & analysis of utilities like diesel, LPG, water, oxygen consumption,asset identification and tagging in plant for deep understanding of business cost.
