My Prime Responsibilities include the following.-Implementation and monitoring of environmental and sustainability policies, programs, & regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.-Assisting the head in the development and execution of the company's sustainability strategy and goals.-Leading and managing the implementation of sustainability initiatives to achieve the company's sustainability goals, including water consumption improvement, energy optimization, emission reduction, and sustainable material sourcing.-Developing and managing the company's carbon accounting and emissions inventory, and using this data to develop and implement emissions reduction strategies.-Setting and achieving net zero targets for carbon neutrality, renewable energy, energy efficiency, supply chain, Net Zero, Science-Based Targets (SBTi), water conservation, wastewater recycling, and chemical management.-Coordinating with the energy division to develop science-based emission reduction targets (SBTi)/metrics for the five-year sustainability strategy.-Compiling data and tracking performance on sustainability KPIs (energy, water, GHG, raw material, chemicals, and waste) for the Annual & Sustainability Reports.-Supporting the organization and advising on environmental/sustainability topics for capacity development and greater environmental integration in business.-Developing collaborations with various global organizations/Initiatives like SBTi, to support the agenda of sustainable development and for future alignment of projects.-Representing the organization at various national and International training, webinars, workshops, and Environmental awareness events.

As a “Zonal Manager Ops” in District Municipal Corporation Korangi, under the contract of “Sindh Solid Waste Management Board”, my prime responsibilities include the following;- Planning and executing all the waste management operations and sanitation services in the respective zone of district Korangi.- Managing all the operations which include waste collection of about 650-1500 TPD from door to door and primary sources i.e. TDPS and transferring it to the landfill.- Managing all sanitation services, i.e., Manual/Mechanical sweeping and fumigation during religious occasions.- Planned and managed all sanitation, waste management, and offal collection during Eid-ul-Adha 2022.- Special planning for auspicious religious occasions like Muharram, Rabi ul Awal, Diwali & Christmas.- Daily reporting to the GM Ops about operational activities & bi-weekly reporting to Project Director Ops.- Planned and deliver training to team & staff twice a month about sanitation, waste management operations, and capacity building.- Managed more than 25 management staff, 120 Drivers, & more than 500 sanitary workers within 100 sq. km area.- Optimize the operations which help the company to save 8 million Pkr/ month in machinery and over 1,250-liter diesel per day. Moreover, make efficient manual and mechanical sweeping operations and reduce labor cost to 0.14 million Pkr/day.
