Job as System & Network Engineer Responsibilities:• Responsible for the uptime of running Network of more than 2500 ports of CISCO 2950 & 3550 for Brain METRO Network during the shift timings.• Configuration of new Switches for the new Nodes.• Configuration of New Ports according to the Sales Departments leads.• Configuration of Ports level, applying the access-list & VLAN according the Package.• Monitoring the NMS records of Metro Network and coordinate with concerned departments for the troubleshooting.• Strong command on configuration of DLSAM’s (Paradyne & ZHONE)• Providing support for the configuration of DSL Modems to Customers on Phone• After Sale, Support to DSL Users and Metro customers.• Looking after the Installed Cisco Access Servers across the Pakistan around at 18 cities. • Responsible for the Configuration, Monitoring & troubleshooting of DSLAMs installed at PTCL Exchanges and Brain METRO network.• Coordinates with related departments during the down time of Brain METRO Services during shift timings.• Fixing the E-Mail boxes of Users along with home directories of users for the smooth send & receive of e-mails.• Checking the MX of Linux Server and clear the queue of e-mail at Server end.• Timely provide the solutions and troubleshooting to the customers against the issued queries from Customer Support Departments.• Hands on Practical Experience of Exchange Server 2003 and ISA Server 2006.• Creation of Accounts on Exchange Server and Implement Policies as per requirement.• Strong command on handling & Troubleshooting of Hosted Domains at BrainDATACenter.• Resolve the e-mail issues of domains WWW & FTP Issues.• Updating the DNS entries and records of registered & hosted domains• Comprehensive command on using the HELM Hosting Software along with Control Panels.• Responsible for the Backup of DATA Center Servers during the shift timings.
