Migrating the vehicle diagnostic tool, which is currently in use globally, to comply with the latest ISO standards. Testing and developing diagnostic tools for automobile manufacture Porsche. Creating simulations that mimic the functionality of the Electronic Control Unit's(ECU's) in the automobile Setup and develop of test scenarios Writing functional and technical specifications Unit Testing the created application against the simulation and Porsche 911 Integration Testing against the Porsche 911 and Porsche Diagnostic Tool Everyday responsibilities are to ensure that all development processes are documented precisely to ensure accurate test documentation and principles can be adhered to. Tools used are specific for the creation of Open Data Exchange (ODX) files which is needed in the migration process of all ECU data into ODX stored files. Implementation of the ODX was one of my responsibilities, which ensures the communication between the Software Diagnostic Tool and ECU is maintained to a consistent level of productivity.
