My career journey began with dentistry, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from RGUHS in India. While I valued the hands-on patient care experience, I realized my true passion lay in making a broader impact by addressing public health challenges and improving access to basic healthcare. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Public Health from Sheffield Hallam University, allowing me to expand my focus from individual treatment to helping entire communities, with a particular interest in vulnerable populations and health disparities.Throughout my career, I’ve gained diverse experience in healthcare, working as a Medical Officer at Vidal Health, where I provided health and lifestyle advice to employees from organizations like Maersk and Mayfair. I further honed my skills as a Medical Data Curator at CONCERTAI, managing complex healthcare data with precision.Currently, I work as a Cover Supervisor for Secondary SEMH students, promoting positive learning environments and mentoring students on the importance of healthy living. I am also a trustee for SHIP, a Sheffield-based charity supporting marginalized communities, and a volunteer youth mentor with SWFC, where I advise children on nutrition and physical fitness.With expertise in smoking cessation, supported by my stop smoking practitioner training, I am dedicated to helping individuals lead healthier lives.
