Energy Manager for a large K-12 school system in Maryland which consists of '125' schools . Managed Controls and Energy Management Division till June 2012, supervised '8' controls technicians including '2' boiler mechanics and '3' graphics operators. As of July 2012, I am responsible for managing a newly created Enegy Conservation Division which deals with Renewable Energy Projects, Energy Procurement, LEED Schools and Demand Side Response via energy monitoring company EnerNoc. This Division has started school system's Energy Database and linked it with USDOE's Portfolio Manager. The Division consists of '2' qualified Energy Conservation Engineers, a Scheduler and an Assistant.We are proud to be the latest school system in the country (#11) to join US DOE's Better Building Challenge. This collaboration started in February, 2014 and is continuing.

Worked as Facility Engineer for several State Hospitals, Energy Engineer for the Department and in management capacity for the Engineering & Maintenance Division.The areas of responsibility included project management, specification development and A/E specification review as well as progress meetings on site for all of Division's maintenance and capital projects. It also included daily coordination with the Department of General Services(DGS) and Maryland Energy Administration (MEA)for project updates. All projects had to follow COMAR procurement guidelines and MEA's grant procedures. During my tenure @ DHMH, several hospital boiler plants were upgraded with the help of State funds and under the auspices of Energy Performance Contracts which resulted in large energy savings.
