Similarly, account opening for all above regions was centralized in Lahore under a gradual process.Cash Houses had the responsibility of collecting surplus cash from branches, sorting the same as per SBP guidelines, supply the sorted cash to branches for their requirements and disposal of surplus cash to SBP or other banks. MCB Bank had total four Cash Houses and three of them (Multan, Lahore & Faisalabad) were reporting to me. The Cash House at Multan was established by me.
