With over two decades of experience in operations, technical, commercial, supply chain, and business development roles, I have dedicated my career to driving growth and innovation within the petrochemical industry. My journey began in 2000 as a graduate trainee engineer at Engro Polymer and Chemicals, where I steadily progressed into strategic leadership positions.I've cultivated a robust global and local network, spanning technology licensors, engineering houses, PVC manufacturers, capital providers, and regulatory bodies. My tenure as Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) and my involvement in the Asian Pacific Vinyl Network have further strengthened my industry influence. I have been an active member of several global managerial and technical conferences and in 2015 was nominated for the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard University.In 2019, I transitioned to Engro Corp to lead a feasibility study for a world-scale polypropylene facility in Pakistan, a multi-billion-dollar project. My role as Vice President of Special Projects has allowed me to explore and evaluate internationalization opportunities for Engro, where I continue to contribute to the company’s strategic growth initiatives.My career is characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a deep understanding of the petrochemical industry, and a commitment to leading teams and organizations towards sustainable growth.
