· Perform Windows administration, including Active Directory setup and maintenance· Manage Windows virtual server environment and Active Directory· Perform routine maintenance of information technology systems· Ensure network, system, and data availability, integrity, confidentiality.· Finding vulnerabilities and exploits on local networks for a company· Protecting local networks and assets · Firewall monitoring, IDS monitoring, IPS monitoring· Network monitoring (e.g.: Unauthorized network changes)· Threat management· Configuration change monitoring (Enforcing Change management)· Fraud detection/monitoring· Spam monitoring on Exchange server· Data leakage prevention· Audits, and Access policies· Admin for the company cloud computing running on Microsoft Azure· Evaluate and diagnose application and software issues· Provide continued maintenance and development of hardware, software, and network systems· Assist in the procurement of new software · Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.· Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.· Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.· Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager

· Perform cable routing and termination, equipment installation and configuration, labeling, and documentation· Provide routine support for network and/or telecommunications functions· Respond to and prioritizes requests from users to provide guidance and assistance· Propose develops and implements documentation and procedures for determining and/or preventing problems· Assisting the help desk in problem determination and solution· Set up, installs, and test hardware and peripherals at user sites· Install network operating system and standard programs· Assist in the installation of more complex software and equipment· Provide basic one-on-one training to users· Maintain system records and documentation· Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN) · Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability · Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning · Establish configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure · Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team · Maintenance and updating software & network capabilities · Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. · Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
