Currently Overseeing shipping and logistics sections for both dry and wet freight in Nigerian ports for the company.Manage all aspect of KPIs,Supply Chain and logistics functions throughout the six major ports in Nigeria, developed logistics strategies as senior management teams that are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives of the company, drive the realizations of efficieny,quality and process improvement for the company including all shipping documents processing, lead the team of staffs involved in day to day involvement of shipping operations in the ports, manage all customer relationships and initiate logistics operational performance levels, ensure all logistics strategies are executed successfully and where compliance is an issues, a follow up actions is done, Prepare clear budget and oversee its implementations, provide regular report to the management, assume full responsibility for delivering targeted operational activities on regular basis, supply the management team with accurate inventory report to guide support decision making, identify and ensure potentials third parties are selected for operational task within and outside the ports, control and organize all shipments on daily basis, negotiates and agreeing on contracts of haulage, ensure all health and safety are strictly complied with, Oversee all port operations staffs in charge of (sea freight/airfreight) from both seaport/airport, liaise with customs on tariff and other port dues, liaise with ports terminal operators on terminal charges, Liaise with NIMASA,NPA on charges, ensure securities for all cargoes, Ensure all operational data are accurate and properly monitored to avert problems, coordinate daily staff briefing/meeting and attend board meetings on monthly basis, ensure all cargoes deliver are captures in SAP, vet all deliveries,ensure proper tracking and tracing and insurance coverage, monitor all payment before cargoes are release for deliveries/bank reconcialiation.

Report to Director of Operations/Technical by leading and and supervising logistics/workshops team from all the terminals, ensure all workshop function 24/7,coordinate the logistics and distribution of (bitumen,PMB,AGO,DPK) to clients throughout Nigeria by liaising with sales admin for confirmation of customers payment/request on daily loading in all the terminals, responsible for coordinating the logistics of LPFO/AGO inter terminal transfer of bitumen products, implement health and safety procedure by introducing uniforms, safety boots and PPPs equipment’s for drivers/workshops teams in all the terminals, implement in-house repairs of all trucks, plants and equipment’s( tankers,sprayers,cranes,pay loader,grader and forklift),re-organize all workshop stores by introducing inventory/stock taking for better performance, plan and schedule all preventive/corrective maintenance in all the workshops by introducing time allocations for both major/minor repairs, ensure immediate recoveries of all breakdown trucks on the highways, liaise with admin on all spare parts procurement, ensure right temperature loadings/weighbridge precision to avoid over/under loading through the logistics teams in all the terminals to clients in Nigeria on daily basis, liaise with law enforcement /regulatory agencies (FRSC,VIO,Police) on traffic regulations to avoid conflict and prevent accident, coordinate the tracking units by ensuring proper monitoring to avoid diversion, reheating and delayed in deliveries at customer site, identify all the red spots on our highways to prevent pilferages, approves bi-weekly payment for all NUPENG charges and dialogue when there is a conflict, oversee drivers welfare,vet and approves all drivers trips allowance and take a disciplinary action on all cases of theft, collate all loading report according to product for monthly report,regular visit to all the terminals to ensure logistics process are in order.

 Proficiently direct the daily planning, organising and supervision activities of 40 staff members comprising of fleet officers and managers. Collaboratively perform responsibilities to oversee management of approximately 2000 staff (drivers) and ensure effective coordination of outbound logistics. Successfully manage a fleet of 2000 trucks using the SAP across the nation 36 States in Nigeria locations, distributing cement for the largest cement company in Africa and the 4th largest cement distribution company in the world. Work with plant director to achieve production and distribution target (Daily Targets 32,000 metric tons). Effectively deliver set targets, increase in turn-over, achieve yearly targets distribution of 15 million metric tons and ensure all ATC collected from sales and marketing are issues and service on daily basis. Oversee the logistics of clinkers,limestone from quarry/mine site to the factory and haulage of Gypsum from Apapa port to the factory Accomplished and developed the nation-wide transport operations of a sugar supply company, delivered lucrative contracts to clients such as; Coca Cola, Cadbury and Nestle. Expertly planned and established the routes of all deliveries including related administration work to maintain 100% customer service compliance. Allocated jobs and tasks to, line manager, fleet officers, loading officer and drivers, ensuring all areas were covered and met operational requirements resulted in significant increase of company revenue.
