Halliburton Worldwide LimitedSenior Logistics Specialist● To ensure internal customer requirements are planned and delivered in a timely manner.● Using SAP and logistics systems in order to assist in performing relevant logistics job functions.● Implement logistic structure such as; record keeping, inbound / outbound material movements / tracking of assets, inventory management & cycle counting of material / assets.● Apply flow of approval from government authorities, apply and maintained DG license, AMI module implementation, E-bidding implementation, temporary import bounds renewals, reconciliation of freight invoices and get approval from concern PSL, accrual of in transit shipment on monthly basis.● Responsible to assess trends, make projections and action plans for improvement areas. Anticipate challenges and address accordingly.● Champion best practices and apply Global Logistics Guidelines to all areas of responsibility for logistics.● Handling Inbound/Outbound & local Radioactive movements. ● Coordinate with the compliance team for manual invoice approvals.● Coordinating between Custom Brokers & Transporters.● Coordinate with clearing agents to ensure sea-freight/air-freight/ocean-freight shipments are cleared on time and notify the same to the PSL and materials team on arrival.● Coordinate movements from Jebel Ali free zone & Abu Dhabi to ZADCO Island (offshore) project site & Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE) project site.● Understand the laws and regulations that govern imports and find out any new laws / regulations and lead the planning team to cope with the new regulations without any interruption for the business.● Controls demurrage costs by daily tracking, and analyzing the reasons for demurrage, then resolving the reasons in a total quality manner.● Process the clearing and transportation agencies invoices, and ensures that the costs paid are correct as per the contract.

● Handling total logistical solutions for air/sea/land/warehousing● Meeting the potential clients & exploring the market to expand the business activities of the company.● Develop new clientele for the interest of the organization.● Negotiating the rates with the local shipping lines, airlines, 3rd party warehousing.● Liaising with foreign offices and agents.● Preparing inventory reports, stock and plan the forecast every quarter● Coordinating for payments with the clients and the finance dept.● Direct day-to-day activities within different units, ensuring that work is planned and executed according to the standards set in the Company● Managing the key account executive team comprising of 2-team member.

● Customer service - handling customer inquiries, orders, pricing, shipments arrangement.● Meeting the potential clients & exploring the market to expand the business activities of the company.● Negotiating the rates with the local and overseas agents.● Arranging to pass all necessary documents at the Port & customs including Free Zone Cargo.● Closing Exit entry of Jebel Ali & other Free Zone Cargo.● Preparing monthly revenue reports and booking reports client wise.● Quoting rates for respective ports to customers. FCL & LCL.● Following up with the shipping line for loading of containers on planned vessels.● Coordinating with operations for clearance of cargo with original documents as Certificate of Origin Master Bill Of Lading invoice and packing list.● Ensuring post shipment documents are couriered or delivered to customers in time.● Maintaining the client database.
