As a line supervisor for production and Quality (Supervising, Non Destructive Testing) My role is about inspection and documentation from raw material (shell) to final product (section). Inspection of shell fit up , flange fit up by using toe gauge ,distance meter and flange flatness during initial, final stage of fit up by using easy Laser as per the customer requirement and Checking the quality of the GMAW, SAW Weld by using NDT methods such as Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing. Ensuring welding parameters such as amperage, voltage, travel speed, preheat & inter pass temperature; joint type, filler metal class & size are within the WPS (Welding Procedure Specification). Welding defect monitoring by visual checking and correcting on time. Ensuring imperfection designations are within the acceptance criteria (ISO 5817) Keep a record of everything to describe, explain about attributes of the product. Working as per CCR, CTP, CTQ and SOP’s.
