I did my M.Sc. in Ecology Specialization in 1981, M.Sc. in Environmental Science in 2019 and B.Sc. (Hon’s) in Zoology with Chemistry and Botany in 1979 and also did Master in Development Management (MDM) from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, Philippines. Major courses are focused on natural resource/ecosystems management, project and program management, strategic management, development communication, operation management, management of change and organization development etc.I started my career in ecological, biodiversity, environmental and wildlife biology conservation research and development sectors in 1981. I was involved as a Research Fellow under World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Department of Zoology, DU. Khulna Sundarbans, Sunamganj Haor Areas with a view to conservation measure and development of biodiversity and environment. Also have knowledge and experience on Barind track ecosystem. I have also work experience on EIA and IEE.Since January 2011, I have been working with UNEP supported short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) project of DoE, USAID’s supported climate change, climate resilient ecosystem and environment conservation issue based projects on “Climate Resilient Ecosystems and Livelihoods(CREL) project” and “Integrated Protected Area Co- project with management (IPAC)” in protected areas. Apart from this, I worked as a wildlife biologist/specialist under National Conservation Strategy (NCS) of Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) in collaboration with UNDP. Besides this, I worked as an Environment Consultant of World Bank supported project of DOE on “Clean Air for sustainable environment (CASE) project” focused on the assessment of Dhaka City Air Pollution in supports with Department of Environment (DoE). Since 1983, I have an excellent working experience in project planning, coordination and management skills with development projects on climate change, ecosystem & biodiversity conservation, NRM, environment, education, vocational skills development issues in cross-cultural and interpersonal environment with government and non-government organization. I have sound analytical, organizational and financial, budget and project management skills with development partners, government agencies and, national and international organizations.
