Assigned as a Senior Architect, responsibilities included preparation of the Engineering Department’s Procedures, Design Guidelines, and standardizing the department’s forms and documents. Involved throughout the life cycle of various projects, starting from the preparation of the RFPs, participating in the tender evaluation process, performing design reviews, and construction support for some of the projects. Leading the coordination with external stakeholders and potential partners; including Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), Building Technology Authority, Saudi Aramco, AirPrudocts, and ABB. Some of which has further developed to sign an MoU with Saudi Customs. Appointed by HE the Governor to represent SAC as contact person with LCGPA and a member of SAC Local Content Steering Committee, where I had an instrumental role in the development and implementation of the Saudi Customs Local Content Strategy, including working continually with SAC Contracts & Procurement department embedding the Local Content into SAC procurement processes and coordinating with LCGPA.
