I m a Structural/Civil Engineer experienced in designing residential, commercial, and special post-disaster structures (in Fiji Islands & NZ) with about six years of experience. I have been successful at working with clients, providing technical knowledge and supervising design teams to accomplish projects under a tight deadline. I have a Diploma, Degree in Civil Engineering from the Fiji National University & a Master of Engineering Studies (Endorsed in Civil Engineering) from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.I was also employed as a Part-Time lecturer (during the COVID lockdown) in Civil Engineering for Fiji National University (teaching subjects like Reinforced concrete and advanced structural Engineering).In 2022, I took a partial engineering career break for about a year due to migration and took up the position of Building Control Officer for Buller District Council (BDC). In this position, I became more familiar with the New Zealand Building Code, Building Act, and Legislation and was exposed to the NZ's local construction industry.In 2023, I had decided to go back to engineering and took the position of Structural Engineer at Structural Engineering Design Solutions (SEDs), where I do engineering design of low rise residential and commercial buildings.
