I worked at Damascus University - geophysics department as an assistant lecturer and a supervisor in the seismic data processing laboratory . First , I worked as a supervisor for seismic surveying by means of shallow-refraction instrument for the purpose of identifying subsurface gaps and determining refractor structure. Second, I taught seismic data processing as a theoretical lectures. Third I worked in the lab of seismic data processing and made research about low frequency shadows, and I illustrated that low frequency shadows provide higher frequency resolution at lower frequencies and higher time resolution at higher frequencies.

My tasks were in planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, estimating and negotiating and agreeing budgets with clients and managers, ensuring that health and safety regulations are met, determining quality control standards, overseeing production processes, selecting, ordering and purchasing materials, organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment, supervising and managing the work of junior staff.
